Sam Anderson is an Energy Specialist at the Colorado Department of Agriculture where he helps develop and administer a technical and financial assistance program for energy efficiency, micro-hydropower, and renewable thermal technologies in agriculture. He is a mechanical engineer with more than 15 years of professional experience in clean energy technologies and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM®). He has extensive experience evaluating and implementing projects in bio-energy, biodiesel, wind, solar PV, solar thermal, micro-hydro, energy storage, and energy efficiency, with a strong focus on agricultural applications of renewable energy technologies.
