Lucila Dunnington

Lucila Dunnington is a PhD candidate in the Mining Department at Colorado School of Mines. Lucila’s studies involve geothermal mining with specific emphasis on environmental engineering applications. Other research interests are carbon sequestration in mafic bodies, the effect of anthropogenic runoff on river water quality, and the use of mine-heated water to power bioreactors for remediation. Lucila completed her BS in geology and geophysics at Yale University.
